Iain Flannigan is a Scottish professional footballer currently playing for Partick Thistle in the Scottish First Division.
He made his debut as a first-half substitute in Kilmarnock's 2–0 defeat to Hamilton Academical in the 3rd round of the Scottish League Cup on 2007-09-25 and made his Scottish Premier League debut in the 2–2 draw with Inverness Caledonian Thistle aged 19 on 2007-10-06.[1] He is a hopeful young talent as he and fellow young Killie player Craig Bryson shone during the game.
Iain scored his first goal for the club in 4–1 home victory against Inverness Caledonian Thistle on 2008-03-22.[2] Flannigan was influential in Kilmarnock's equaliser by hitting the post with a free kick before the rebound was scored by teammate Frazer Wright. He went on to score the fourth goal of the game meeting a low cross perfectly after a surging run into the box.
On the 28th of July after being on trial for a number of weeks, he signed with Partick Thistle Football Club.
